1999
The beginning
The Sisters of L.W.S.H. Congregation, inspired by the vision and missionary spirit of their founder, Father Francisco Maria Greco, established their first educational institution in India at Mary Mount in 1999, beginning with LKG, UKG and Class I. Mary Mount was founded with a clear vision to provide a nurturing, values-led education for children and families.
2004
Expansion and innovation
From these humble beginnings, Mary Mount Public School has grown into a vibrant Senior Secondary institution, continually evolving with the changing needs of education while remaining firmly grounded in its core values. The school received its CBSE affiliation in 2004, and the first batch of Class X students appeared for the CBSE Board Examination in March 2006, achieving excellent results. The school progressed to the Senior Secondary level in 2006.
